Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled orthopedic total joint surgeon to join our well-established and respected practice at the Orthopedic Care Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Job Description: 

The total joint surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with joint-related issues, primarily focusing on hip and knee replacements. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment with state-of-the-art facilities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform primary and revision total joint arthroplasties of the hip and knee. 
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for joint replacement patients. 
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, physician assistants and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. 
• Utilize the latest surgical techniques and technologies to improve patient outcomes. 
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as desired. 
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations and rehabilitation plans. 
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with practice standards and regulations. 

Qualifications: 

• Board-certified or board-eligible in orthopedic surgery. 
• Fellowship-trained in adult reconstruction/total joint arthroplasty. 
• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts and Connecticut. 
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to excellence in patient care. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
