Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon to join our dynamic patient-centered practice at the Orthopedic Care Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.  

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an expanding orthopedic practice that sees a high volume of surgical referrals from the extensive network of Trinity Health Of New England primary care partners practicing throughout western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide expert orthopedic surgical and non-surgical care with a specialized focus on sports medicine. 
  • Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions affecting athletes and active individuals. 
  • Perform advanced arthroscopic and reconstructive surgical procedures. 
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including advanced diagnostic assessments. 
  • Develop personalized treatment plans integrating surgical intervention, rehabilitation and injury-prevention strategies. 
  • Collaborate with athletic trainers, physical therapists and sports performance specialists.

Qualifications: 

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school. 
  • Completed orthopedic surgery residency. 
  • Sports medicine fellowship certification. 
  • Board certification in orthopedic surgery. 
  • Active medical license in Massachusetts and Connecticut. 
  • Current DEA certification. 
  • Demonstrated excellence in orthopedic and sports medicine techniques. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

Surgical Expertise Requirements: 

  • Advanced arthroscopic procedures. 
  • Sports-related injury reconstructions. 
  • Joint preservation techniques. 
  • Shoulder and knee surgical interventions. 
  • Sports-specific orthopedic treatments.
