Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group seeks a BC/BE non-invasive cardiologist with advanced cardiac structural imaging expertise and leadership experience to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.     This is an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate your skills and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of heart conditions from the common to the complex while leading advanced cardiac imaging.

  The successful candidate is:  

  • BC/BE in cardiovascular disease. 
  • US ACGME residency-trained. 
  • Cardiac imaging fellowship-trained. 
  • Expert in multimodality cardiac imaging, particularly in the areas of advanced transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology with cardiac MRI as a plus. 
  • Licensed in Connecticut. 

  In this role, you will: 

  • Be responsible for the timely interpretation, medical quality, accuracy and appropriateness of digital cardiac procedures performed. 
  • Share responsibility and oversight of the reading pool. 
  • Oversee the Echo lab operations, ensure the quality and accuracy of imaging procedures, and maintain echo quality assurance IAC. 
  • Direct our Echo School, including program planning, reads with students and maintaining accreditation. 
  • Perform consults and testing and provide care in outpatient clinic and hospital settings. 
  • Collaborate with cardiac care teams. 
  • Hold an academic appointment at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
