Trinity Health Of New England—the region’s largest nonprofit health system—is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the Critical Care team within the ICU at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
In this full-time role, you will work in the Medical ICU alongside other advanced practice providers and resident physicians and under the supervision of a medical intensivist. You will develop and implement critical care plans; perform invasive procedures, including central/arterial/dialysis lines; and coordinate care with consulting services. The team provides 24/7 coverage of the MICU and candidates should expect to cover overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. The successful candidate for this role should be a detail-oriented team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, critical care environment. Critical care experience is preferred but candidates with experience in hospitalist medicine are encouraged to apply.
