Trinity Health Of New England is growing and seeks a fellowship-trained cardiothoracic surgeon to join Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. We welcome experienced or graduating cardiac surgeons who have interest in endovascular approaches to aortic disease or thoracic surgery, including bypass, valvular disease, ventricular assist and cardiac critical care, to work in close collaboration with robust interventional, electrophysiology and heart failure services.
- Join our growing cardiac care team of cardiologists, APPs and nurses as a member of the larger multidisciplinary team of interventionalists, invasive and noninvasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced imaging and structural heart specialists, advanced heart failure physicians, advanced practitioners and nurses who are dedicated to providing unrivaled cardiac care at one of New England’s highest-volume cardiovascular institutes.
- Join the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute team as a nationally recognized leader in cardiovascular care, medical excellence and patient safety, as it continues to add advanced technologies and experienced specialists.
- Practice as a full-time member of the CV/CT Surgery group in one of New England’s highest-volume cardiac surgery programs.
- Hold academic appointment if desired at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.

The successful candidate should be:
- BC/BE with fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery.
- A candidate with strong consultation skills, proven ability to perform complex aortic procedures, and excellent robotic surgery skills.
- Licensed in Connecticut before job start.
- US ACGME residency-trained.
